My name is Ursa. The nice peoples at Pyrescue saved me from a shelter in New Mexico, where I was on the EU list. I am being fostered in N.M. where I am being treated for Heartworms and being underweight. I am good with other dogs and cats. I have shown some protective tendencies with food but that will subside with time, once I learn the food and water will always be there for me. I am staying in a home where there are other dogs, cats. toys and love. I am slowly gaining weight, and learning that toys are fun. I am on pretreatment of antibiotics for 30 days prior to starting heartworm medication. The hoomans at Pyrescue expect I should be in Colorado soon. 

When I am ready to go home, I will be fully vetted. All my shots will be up to date. I will have had flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. I've been pampered so I look pretty for you. I have a collar and ID tags, along with a microchip. Also, Petsmart will give you an adoption package if you take in our adoption contract after we go home. The package lots of free stuff including training, food, grooming, and toys! What are you waiting for?? Let's go home!
